The act

Sax and decks, one performer, no changeover

PM Sax! is Paul Martyn DJing house and dance anthems with live saxophone over the top, walking out among the crowd for the moments that matter. One performer covers the whole slot, so there is no hand-over between a DJ and a live act and no gap in the music.

Paul started on the sax at 17 and has played every tier the UK circuit offers — from support slots in front of thousands down to private villas on the Costa Blanca. The PM Sax! set is the one that stuck: Balearic melodies played live over a DJ mix.

Set lengths45-minute sax features, 2-hour headline sets, or multiple sets across a day. Residencies welcome.

Questions

Promoter questions

Do you need our sound system or bring your own?

Either. For festivals and clubs Paul plugs into the house system and only needs a DJ booth position and a wireless mic channel. For bars, hotels and terraces without a system, full sound and lighting are included.

Can you play over our resident DJ?

Yes. Live sax over a resident DJ's set is a regular booking. Paul liaises with the DJ in advance so the set flows.

How long is a set?

Anything from a 45-minute sax feature to a full 2-hour sax-and-DJ headline set, with multiple sets across a day for festivals and terrace sessions.

Are you insured and PAT tested?

Yes. Public liability insurance and PAT-tested equipment, with documents supplied on request for your venue or event safety file.

Do you take residencies and repeat dates?

Yes. Weekly or monthly residencies for bars, hotels and holiday venues, in the UK and abroad, are welcome.

Do you travel internationally?

Yes. Beach clubs, hotels and festivals across Europe, Ibiza and Mallorca included.
